Photography that ships inside your brand and growth work, not a folder of pretty files nobody uses.
Commercial and brand photography wired to your strategy, growth, and engineering work from the start, so the images do a job on your site instead of sitting in a deck. Full usage rights included.
Photography at Rule27 is a Creative Studio capability, not a standalone shoot you book in a vacuum. The images get planned against where they will actually live: the hero on a service page, the product grid in your store, the team wall on your about page, the social frames your paid team needs. Because our photographers sit under the same roof as strategy, growth, and engineering, the shot list is built from the pages and campaigns the images have to feed, not from a generic idea of what "good brand photos" look like. That is the whole point of four studios and one team. Creative that starts wired to the rest of the work drives pipeline instead of decorating it.\n\nHow we do it differently comes down to intent. Before the shoot we know the aspect ratios, crop points, and file specs each destination needs, so you are not left cropping a beautiful landscape image into a broken square weeks later. We shoot brand, product, corporate portraits, events, and architectural work, then hand back edited, optimized files ready for both print and web. Every session includes full commercial usage rights: no licensing fees, no expiration, use the images everywhere, forever. The proof of the approach is experiential. The imagery, motion, and design on rule27design.com is Creative Studio dogfooding its own capability. The site is the pitch.\n\nThis service is for companies that are tired of stock photography that looks like everyone else, or of one-off shoots that produce assets nobody knows how to use. It fits especially well when photography is part of a larger engagement, a rebrand, a website build, or a growth program, because then the images are specified against real pages and real campaigns from day one. If you only need a single headshot session, we do that too, cleanly and without upselling you into a program you do not need.

Plan against destinations
We start from where the images will live, your pages, store, and campaigns, then build the shot list, aspect ratios, and file specs to match. Location and permit planning happens here too.
Shoot
A professional session run to the plan, with the strategy and growth context in the room so we capture what the work actually needs, not just what looks nice.
Edit and optimize
Retouching and color, then export to print-ready and web-optimized files at the sizes and crops each destination requires.
Deliver and place
High-resolution files handed over ready to use. When photography is part of a larger engagement, our engineering studio can place the images directly on the pages they were shot for.
Priced like a product.
Not sure which tier fits? We will scope it with you.
Start with PhotographyIf you're not satisfied with the edited images, we schedule a reshoot at no charge. We don't deliver work we wouldn't put in our own portfolio.
Asked often.
What types of photography do you offer?
Brand photography, product photography, corporate portraits and headshots, event coverage, and architectural or interior photography. If it advances your brand visually and has a home on your site or in a campaign, we shoot it. What we do not do is treat photography as a siloed line item disconnected from the rest of your marketing.
Do we own the images?
Yes. Full commercial usage rights are included in every session. No licensing fees, no expiration, no restrictions on where you use them. The files are yours to use everywhere, forever.
How is this different from hiring a freelance photographer?
A freelancer delivers files. We deliver images planned against the actual pages, products, and campaigns they need to feed, because our photographers work alongside our strategy, growth, and engineering studios. That means correct crops and specs from the start, and, on larger engagements, the option to have the images placed directly on the pages they were shot for. Creative wired to the rest of the work is the whole reason to have four studios under one roof.
How long does a shoot take?
Headshots typically run one to two hours. Brand or product sessions run a half day to a full day depending on scope. Multi-location or event coverage varies. We scope the right time allocation during planning so nothing gets rushed and nothing gets padded.
How long until we receive the edited images?
Edited images are delivered within five to seven business days of the shoot. Rush delivery is available for time-sensitive projects, and we scope that up front so the timeline is clear before we shoot.
Do you do location scouting and handle permits?
Yes. Location planning is part of pre-production. We recommend locations that fit your brand and the pages the images are for, and we handle any permits required. If a shoot needs a specific setting to work on the page it is destined for, we plan for it rather than improvising on the day.
